MOORESVILLE, NC– Police say they are searching for a suspect who attempted to rob a Charlotte Observer employee Friday.
Authorities say a man attempted to rob the victim on Talbert Road around 2:18 a.m. but was unsuccessful.
Investigators believe the suspect is the same man who robbed a QuickTrip on Thursday and was described as wearing the same clothing and armed with the same type of handgun as used in the QuickTrip and the attempted robbery Friday morning.
The suspect fled the scene in a dark green late 80’s early 90’s Chevrolet S-10 extended cab pickup truck with a silver toolbox in the bed.
