Charter Communications To Announce Intentions To Buy Time Warner Cable

 CHARLOTTE, NC — Move over, Comcast.  Tuesday, Charter Communications will annouce its intentions to buy Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks for $55 billion.

Comcast withdrew its offer to buy TWC last month because of concerns from federal regulators.  Time Warner is currently the second biggest cable provider in the country.  Charter is third.
