Β BOONE, NC — Boone-based Samaritan’s Purse is sending more help to homeless earthquake victims in Nepal. Β The organization will take off from Charlotte-Douglas Airport Tuesday morning and deliver 105 tons of shelter material to the devastated area.

The country has been hit by two quakes in the last 30 days. Β More than 8,600 people have died. Β Thousands more are injured. Β There are new fears that the upcoming rainy season will trigger more landslides.
