Β COLUMBIA, SC — Hillary Clinton is calling out Republicans over equal pay for women. Β The Democratic Presidential candidate took jabs at Republicans during a campaign stop in Columbia, South Carolina Wednesday afternoon.

She gave the keynote address at a women’s conference. Β Clinton, who sometimes appeared to speak with a Southern accent during her speech, told the crowd that equal pay is one of the reasons it’s hard to get ahead and stay ahead in America.

“We could fix this if Republicans would get on board,” said Clinton. Β “We, in fact, could fix this today, but they won’t. Β In fact, one Republican candidate for President dismissed equal pay as a, quote, ‘bogus issue.'”

Clinton is expected to visit South Carolina again. Β The Palmetto State has the first Presidential primary in the South in February.
