West Charlotte Murder Suspect Pleads Guilty
CHARLOTTE, NC — The man who gunned down another man at a gas station in west Charlotte will spend at least 26 years in prison. Wisezah Buckman pleaded guilty Thursday to second degree murder in the shooting death of Thurmont Davis.
Police found Davis dead in the parking lot of the Nichols Marathon gas station on Wilkinson Boulevard last June. Investigators say the two men knew one another, and had an argument before the shooting.
