CHARLOTTE, NC — You can sample Charlotte’s top restaurants this weekend at the Taste of Charlotte in Uptown. Thousands are expected to attend the three day festival, which opened Friday on Tryon Street.
Foodies say they love checking out what local restaurants have to offer without sitting down for a full meal at full price.
“I’m from out of town, so it was cool to come down here and get a new taste of Charlotte,” said Samantha Busch. “I’ve been here quite a few times, so it’s great to see things from a different perspective.”
Some roads in Uptown are shut down this weekend for the festival, including Tryon Street between Stonewall and Trade Streets. All roads will reopen Sunday night at 10.
You can find a full list of closures here.
