Β WEDDINGTON, NC — The Providence Volunteer Fire Department is taking a final stand against the Town of Weddington over the decision to terminate the fire service agreement.
Close to 1,000 residents have signed a petition asking to keep the fire service in tact.
The volunteer fire department is suing the town for a breach of contract.
