One Injured in Concord House Fire

CONCORD, N.C.– One person was injured in a house fire Saturday night in Concord.

Concord Fire Department responded to a house fire on Candlestick Court Southwest around 10:15 p.m. Saturday.

The Concord Fire Department says 23 firefighters controlled the fire in 16 minutes.  One resident was taken to Carolinas Medical Northeast with minor injuries.  

The American Red Cross is providing assistance to the three displaced residents.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
