Β CHARLOTTE, NC — The interfaith group Mecklenburg Ministries hosted a forum Monday night at Queen University to discuss the tragedy in Charleston.
Members of the group talked about how the shootings are impacting Charlotte.
“Charleston is not that far from Charlotte, and it’s just past time, frankly, to get together as a community and begin to talk about this in a way that’s more than this being a vigil,” said Jason Williams of Mecklenburg Ministries.
Mecklenburg Ministries is a non-profit organization that represents more than a dozen faith traditions.
