With the latest mass shooting happening inside a church in Charleston, South Carolina, the debate over gun control is rekindled. The shooting at Emanuel AME Church took nine lives, including the late Reverend and South Carolina Senator Clementa Pinckney.
Wednesday, the Reverend was honored during a public viewing at the State House in Columbia, where a Confederate battle flag continues to fly. It’s the same flag featured prominently on a website linked to the shooter, Dylann Roof.
