Two People Injured In Reported Shark Attacks At NC And SC Beaches

AVON, N.C. — Two people are being treated after they were allegedly bitten by sharks Friday in separate incidents.  

Friday morning, someone reported being bitten by a shark in Avon, North Carolina in the Outer Banks.  The victim was not seriously injured.

Around 11am, another person was allegedly bitten by a shark in Hunting island, South Carolina.  That victim is said to have serious injures.  

There is no word if beaches in the area closed due to the attacks.
