ROCK HILL, S.C. — Police say they were called to a church in Rock Hill after an argument broke out between two pastors.
Chesley Simms told police he was conducting a Bible study inside a building on East Main Street in Rock Hill when another pastor entered the building and started a disturbance.
Simms said he asked the other pastor, Rodrequez Dover, to leave and had him escorted out of the building. Dover told police his church owned the building and they were allowing Simms to use part of the building for his congregation.
Dover also told police the only reason he was inside the church was because he thought he left his medicine in the building and was searching for it.
Simms told police that Dover’s girlfriend showed up at the church and began arguing with him about making Dover leave. Simms said during the argument Dover’s girlfriend pulled out a stun gun and started waving it at him.
Police interviewed Dover’s girlfriend who said she never presented a stun gun or threatened anyone with one.
No arrests were made in the case. The investigation is on-going.
