LOS ANGELES, C.A. — Episodes of the 1980’s television series “The Dukes Of Hazzard” will no longer run on TV Land. The network decided to pull reruns of the series from its daily schedule.
The television network declined to discuss the reason behind pulling the episodes but it happens after a nation-wide push by many to remove the flag from stores and government properties.
The flag controversy started after a white man allegedly shot and killed nine black church members in a historical black church in Charleston, South Carolina. The suspected shooter admitted to the killings and was seen wearing the Confederate Flag in photos on his social media accounts.
