Navy Yard In Washington, DC On Lockdown After Reports Of Shots Fired

WASHINGTON, DC — Park police and SWAT units are responding to reports of a possible shooting situation at a Washington Navy Yard campus.
The U.S. Navy tweeted, “Navy Yard on lockdown/shelter in place. No incident can be confirmed at this time.”
Reports are that shots were fired in a building on the Navy Yard campus, but officials have yet to confirm.
This is the same Navy Yard where a shooting took place back in 2013 leaving 13 dead, and several others injured.
