CHARLOTTE, NC —Β Candidate filing for November elections officially started Monday. Β From school board to Mayor, several positions are up for grabs. Β Here in Charlotte, all eyes will be on the race for the Mayor’s office.
So far, only City Councilman David Howard and former County Commission Chair Jennifer Roberts have filed.
Also planning to file for the democrats: current Mayor Dan Clodfelter and Mayor Pro-Tem Michael Barnes. Β Republicans Edwin Peacock and Scott Stone also plan to run. Β Filing is open until July 17.
