Travelers, traders and web surfers were all affected by computer glitches Wednesday. United airlines, the New York Stock Exchange, and the Wall Street Journal all experienced difficulties.
Trading came to a halt for hours because of what the company calls an “internal technical issue.” About the same time, the Wall Street Journal’s home page went down. Earlier in the day, United Airlines grounded hundreds of flights for more than an hour.
Everything eventually worked out, and all is fine at this hour. But we’re wondering: Are the computer glitches a coincidence… or a cyber attack?
