Inside The Confederate Relic Room And Military Museum

COLUMBIA, SC — The controversial Stars and Bars will be moved to the Confederate Relic Room in Columbia, South Carolina on Friday. Β Thursday, we got an inside look at the Military Museum.
It collects and preserves South Carolina Military Artifacts from the Revolutionary War to modern times. Β The museum is down the street from the State House.
“We get to do a very important educational mission for the people of South Carolina and we’re proactive about preserving what we can,” saidΒ Joe Long.
There’s no word when the public will get to see the flag. Β Museum leaders are working out plans for how the iconic symbol will be displayed. Β
