LANCASTER, S.C.– A 67-year-old man was shot during an attempted armed robbery Sunday in Lancaster, South Carolina. Β
Lancaster County deputies responded to a report of a robbery and shooting at the M&R Mini Mart on Pageland Highway around 4 p.m. Β
Deputies say that four black males entered the store in what appears to be a robbery attempt. Β One of the suspects shot a customer in the store.
The suspects then fled the area in what is believed to be a silver Honda CRV. Β Nothing was stolen from the store. Β
The 67-year-old man was transported to the hospital for treatment.
