TwoΒ Confederate memorials, vandalizedΒ in less than 24 hours inΒ Mecklenburg County. Β Wednesday, the monument at Old City Hall inΒ Uptown was found defaced–spray-paintedΒ with the word “racist.” Β A second Confederate memorial was found vandalized this afternoon near Memorial Stadium.Β Β this one had concrete spread across both sides, obscuring the writing on the monument.
