
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The adoptive mother of missing Salisbury teen, Erica Parsons, has been sent to a federal facility in Fort Worth Texas.
Its described as an administrative security federal medical center.
A federal judge sentenced Casey Parsons to 10 years in prison and her husband, Sandy Parsons, to eight years back in March.
Prosecutors say the couple collected government assistance meant for Erica for two years, after she disappeared in 2011.
She has never been found.
