We also play several quality in-state foes as well. It is a rigorous and challenging schedule which will prepare us for Conference USA play.β
Charlotte will play a game at in-state opponent East Carolina on November 16 and will face Furman as part of the Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament, Thursday, November 19.
Charlotte travels to Paradise Island, Bahamas for Thanksgiving to play in the Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament.Β Joining the 49ers in the Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament is Syracuse, Connecticut, Michigan, Texas, Gonzaga, Washington and Texas A&M.
The 49ers will host Davidson to open the month of December and will begin Conference-USAΒ play at Old Dominion on January 2nd.
βConference USA is an underrated league with several teams that have chance to earn at-large bids to the NCAA Tournament.,β Price said. βWe will be challenged right away with three road games to start league play against two of the leagueβs top teams from last year in Old Dominion and Louisiana Tech.β
