Β
Thursday, advocacy groups delivered a petition with more than 13,000 signatures to the Governor’s office,Β urgingΒ McCrory to stop the sale of license platesΒ bearingΒ theΒ Confederate flag.
At the same time, a bill protecting historical monuments, including an unknown number of Confederate memorials, awaits McCrory’s signature after passing the House Tuesday.
