NEW YORK, N.Y. — WWE has terminated their contract with Hulk Hogan. Reports claim Hogan used a racial slur in an audio clip that was recently released. The statement from WWE reads:
“WWE terminated its contract with Terry Bollea (Hulk Hogan). WWE is committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide.”
Hogan’s profile and merchandise has been removed from WWE’s website.
