RALEIGH, N.C. — The Cumberland County Sheriff`s Office is searching for a missing child, Jaylien “Jay” McClain.Β

Six-year-old Jaylien was last seen at the Christ Worship Center on Blacks Bridge Road in Parkton, North Carolina. He is approximately 4’11” and weighs 48 pounds. Β He has brown hair, and brown eyes. The child was last seen wearing black basketball shirt, khaki shorts, white socks and white and red shoes. Β Β

Authorities are searching for the child’s abductor Derrick Jamaal McClain. McClain is described as being 29-years-old, 6’2″, weighing 170 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing light blue jeans. Officials say he was seen driving a late model silver Buick or Saturn.
