RALEIGH, N.C. — The Cumberland County Sheriff`s Office is searching for a missing child, Jaylien “Jay” McClain.
Six-year-old Jaylien was last seen at the Christ Worship Center on Blacks Bridge Road in Parkton, North Carolina. He is approximately 4’11” and weighs 48 pounds. He has brown hair, and brown eyes. The child was last seen wearing black basketball shirt, khaki shorts, white socks and white and red shoes.
Authorities are searching for the child’s abductor Derrick Jamaal McClain. McClain is described as being 29-years-old, 6’2″, weighing 170 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing light blue jeans. Officials say he was seen driving a late model silver Buick or Saturn.
