Jury Selection Is Complete In Officer Wes Kerrick Trial

CHARLOTTE, NC — Lawyers in the trial of CMPD Officer Wes Kerrick have agreed on 12 jurors and four alternates.  The final alternate was seated Wednesday.  

The judge said testimony will officially begin on Monday at 9:30am. 

The jury consists of nine women (four White, two Black and two Hispanic) and four men (three White, one Black).  The alternates are three women and a man. 

Kerrick is charged with voluntary manslaughter in the 2013 shooting death of Jonathan Ferrell.
