Everyone is roaring about the man who officials say killed Cecil the Lion in Zimbabwe. Β The story has unleashed a torrent of anger online. Β Authorities say Walter Palmer, a dentist from Minnesota, lured the 13-year-old lion from a sanctuaryΒ and then shot it with a crossbow. Β Officials say Cecil survived another 40 hours until the hunter and his guiedes found him and shot him to death. Β Now Minnesota’s governor is weighing in.

“Just horrible. Β I am just so disgusted with that man and to shoot any lion, but to lure a lion like that out of the reserve and shoot him. Β How could anybody think that’s sport, just appalling,” said Gov. Mark Dayton (D).

Palmer says he relied on the expertise of local guides “to ensure a legal hunt” and that he didn’t know the collared lion was part of a study. Β Two men involved in the hunt were arrested and released Wednesday on $1,000 bail. Β They face poaching charges which could carry a 10-year prison sentence.

And that brings us to our Question of the Night: Should Walter Palmer face charges? Β The Edgitators weigh in…
