ROCK HILL, S.C. — The father of former USC football star Jadeveon Clowney was shot in the parking lot of a Rock Hill strip club early Tuesday morning, according to a police report.
The report states that David Morgan aka Chilli Bean, Clowney’s father, was kicked out of the Crazy Horse for sitting on the stage. Braxton Homesley, the club’s manager according to witnesses, told police he saw Morgan near a wall in the back of the property. Homesley told investigators that Morgan pulled out a gun and fired at him.
Homesley allegedly returned fire, striking Morgan in the shoulder. Morgan was taken into custody and transported to a local hospital, according to a police report.
No official charges have been filed at this time. However, the case is being investigated as an attempted murder and aggravated assault.
