CHARLOTTE, NC — Around five o’clock Wednesday morning police, fire, and hazmat crews responded to a suspicious device found in an ambulance at CMC in Dilworth.
A bomb technician was called to the scene, and determined the device was harmless. An all clear was then given.
So far there is no word on what the device actually was, but officials are now investigating the scene as a breaking and entering case to determine where the device came from and how the device came to be inside the ambulance.
This is the second suspicious device call at CMC Main within the past week.
WCCB will bring you updates as they come in.
