Residents Learn About Possible Neighborhood Improvements

CHARLOTTE, NC — The city is talking with west Charlotte residents about potential neighborhood investments.
There was a town hall meeting Thursday night to update plans for the Comprehensive Neighborhood Investment Program in the West Trade/Rozelles Ferry area.
The city is developing a list of project ideas that could transform the community, and bring in more investments.
“Transportation projects,” says City of Charlotte CNIP Liaison Randy Harris. “Projects that will connect residents to street systems. Projects that will connect residents to the greenways. And also projects that will actually attract people to the area.”
A candidate list of projects has been compiled for review by the community. The results will be presented in the next few months.
