ELKHART LAKE, Wis. (AP) — Dane Cameron and Eric Curran raced to their second IMSA TUDOR United SportsCar victory of the year yesterday, leading Action Express Racing’s 1-2 sweep at Road America. Cameron took the lead in the No. 31 Corvette DP during a pit-stop cycle near the halfway point and only lost the top spot for three laps through the final pit sequence.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier expects dynamic playmaker Pharoh Cooper to miss a few more days of practice because of hand and knee injuries. Spurrier said yesterday that the Gamecocks’ 1,000-yard receiver had sprained his hand and gotten a knee bruise in practice, but isn’t seriously injured.
