Three Men Facing Drug Charges In Statesville

STATESVILLE, N.C. — Deputies charged three men for drug offenses after they were stopped for a traffic violation.

Investigators say Andrew Stuart was pulled over on Garner Bagnal Boulevard for a traffic violation. The deputy learned Stuart had a warrant for his arrest.

Stuart told deputies during questioning that there was drug paraphernalia in the car.  Deputies found meth, marijuana and drug paraphernalia in a safe in the trunk of the car.

Stuart and his two passengers, Nathan Delay and Samuel Delay, are now facing charges.

Stuart has been charged with possession of meth, felony maintaining a vehicle for a controlled substance, possession of less than a half ounce of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and was served on his outstanding warrant.

Nathan Delay was charged with possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Samuel Delay was issued a citation for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
