CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Fire officials say one person was rescued from an apartment fire in east Charlotte.Β
The two alarm fire affected three apartments on the third-floor of the Wallace Woods Apartments on Wallace Road.
It took more than 40 firefighters to get the fire under control. Β The person who was rescued was not injured. Β There is no word on what caused the fire.
