Β A new CNN/ORC poll shows Donald Trump as the clear leader among Republican Presidential candidates. Β The survey shows 24 percent of registered Republicans back Trump. Β His nearest competitor, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, is a distant second at 13 percent. Β And retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson stands third at 9 percent.
Trump is also winningΒ more fansΒ within the Republican party. Β The new poll shows 58 percent of Republicans surveyed have a favorable view of Trump. Β That’s up from 50 percent last month. Β Trump isΒ alsoΒ showing popularity among Republican women, despite questions about his treatment of females. Β Sixty percent of Republican woman polled have a positive impression of Trump, compared to 57 percent of GOP men.
