MURRELLS INLET, S.C. — A teenager was apparently bitten by a shark in Murrells Inlet, according to several media reports.
The 15-year-old boy was swimming when the shark allegedly bit his leg and hand. Β The boy claims he was bit on his hand after he tried to get the shark off his leg.
He was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Β Authorities say the teen was in chest-deep water when the attack happened.
