Presidential Hopeful Scott Walker Meets With Local Voters

MATTHEWS, NC — Republican candidate Scott Walker was on the campaign trail in the Carolinas Monday.
The Wisconsin governor stopped at Carotek, Inc. in Matthews, taking a tour of the company’s facilities and talking about what it will take to bring more manufacturing jobs back to the US.
“We need to continue to push strong American manufacturers that will help grow the American economy,” said Gov. Walker. “And we can see by the quality of the work done at places like this that we can compete with anybody in the world.”
The Governor also made stops in Fort Mill, Spartanburg and Anderson, South Carolina. Walker is one of 17 Republican candidates vying for the party’s nomination.
