Chara, This Week’s Pet Project and Oreo, AC&C Dog Day Contest Winner

CHARLOTTE, N.C. –  Chara is a 3 year old female Pit Bull and weighs in at about 49 pounds.  She recently had puppies and also has heartworms.  But when she finds her home, her new owner will receive a voucher to help with her heartworm treatmens.  She is affectionate and works well on her leash.  She loves to have her ears rubbed.  Chara qualifies for the Pit Pass Pack which includes 5 free training classes, a leash and collar and an ID tag.

Also, meet Oreo.  He is CMPD’s AC&C winner of their National Dog Day Contest.  Oreo was adopted from the shelter by his family 3 years ago.

CMPD AC&C’s Kitten Kaboodle Adoption Extravaganza continues through August 31.  New pet parents can adopt a cat for only $10 and a kitten for only $5.
