School Bus Crashes into Car and Tree

CHARLOTTE, NC — No children were hurt Monday afternoon when a school bus rolled out of a school parking lot, crashing into a car and then a tree.

The driver thought the empty bus was in park at Nations Ford Elementary, but it wasn’t.

Police say the bus rolled over a sidewalk usually packed with students walking home from school.
