Man Pleads Guilty to Mutilating, Killing Llama
MONROE, NC —Β One of three men accused of mutilating a Monroe family’s llama has pleaded guilty to animal cruelty.
A judge sentenced Alex ClarkΒ to at least six months in prison and ordered him to pay $2,500 in court costs and fines.
Police say Clark, Cody BrayΒ and James LeeΒ crossed the electric fence at Borderline FarmsΒ in January. Β They’re accused of chasing, stabbing and gutting a llama named Mighty.
