CHARLOTTE, N.C.– Β The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is conducting a homicide investigation in the 1300 block of North Hoskins Road in Northwest Charlotte. Β
Police received an assault with a deadly weapon call for service at 4:44 a.m. Saturday. Β A man with gunshot wounds was dropped off at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center. The man was pronounced dead at 6:20 a.m. at the hospital by medical staff. Β
Around 7:45 a.m. officers located the original crime scene on North Hoskins Street and found another man dead from apparent gunshot wounds. Β
The names of the victims will be released upon family notification. Β
Police say that preliminary evidence indicates that the incidents are related. Β
This is an ongoing, active investigation. Β
