CHARLOTTE, NC —Β A teacher assistant is accused of assaulting a handicapped student at the Metro School in Uptown Charlotte. Β WCCBΒ Charlotte has learned thatΒ TA has resigned.
The TA is accused of hitting the student in the face last Monday. Β CMPD is looking into the allegations.
A letter sent home to parents says the teacher quickly stepped in, and that they believe this was an isolated incident.
