ATLANTA (AP) β One of the largest music festivals in Europe has made a splash since crossing over into the United States a couple years ago.
TomorrowWorld returns Friday with 300 internationally renowned electronic dance music DJs from David Guetta to Afrojack along with NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal during the three-day festival in suburban Atlanta. The festival has made a big financial impact since its 2013 debut and is estimated to generate millions dollars in revenue for Georgia.
Organizers hope their third festival can be more impactful.
TomorrowWorld is an expansion of Tomorrowland, which drew 400,000 for the 11th annual festival in Boom, Belgium in July. Around 160,000 attended TomorrowWorld last year.
The festival this weekend will welcome people from 75 different countries to a sprawling 8,000-acre farm in Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia.
