TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) β€” No. 16 Arizona gets its first real test of the season when it hosts ninth-ranked UCLA in a battle of 3-0 Pac-12 teams. The Wildcats have built their record off of wins over UT-San Antonio, Nevada and Northern Arizona. The Bruins are 3-0 against Arizona since Rich Rodriguez took over as the Wildcats coach.

EUGENE, Ore. (AP) β€” A couple of productive running backs will be on display when No. 13 Oregon hosts 18th-ranked Utah tonight in a Pac-12 showdown. Royce Freeman is averaging 124.3 yards per game with five touchdowns for the 2-1 Ducks, while Devontae Booker is averaging 115 yards with four touchdowns for the 3-0 Utes.

CINCINNATI (AP) β€” The Mets can wrap up the NL East title and their first playoff spot since 2006 with a win over Cincinnati this afternoon. Matt Harvey gets the start in an effort to clinch it for New York. Should the Mets fail to win on the road, they could still win the division if Washington loses to Philadelphia.

HOUSTON (AP) β€” Houston is not only in jeopardy of losing a shot at the AL West title, but also of slipping out of a wildcard spot. The slumping Astros host division-leading Texas again this afternoon trailing the Rangers by 4 1-2 games. Houston is 7-15 in September, clinging to a half-game lead over the Angels for the second wildcard spot.

ATLANTA (AP) β€” Henrik Stenson takes a three-shot lead over Jordan Spieth (speeth) into the third round of the Tour Championship. The two are not only battling for the title in the final of four playoff tournaments but also for the $10 million bonus that goes to the winner of the FedEx Cup.
