UPDATE: Police have identified the victims of Sunday mornings fatal accident as Sherry Goode Ivicsics, 57, and her husband Michael Lee Ivicsics, 45.
Police say their car went airborn after running off the road and into a mailbox, and then crashed into a tree. Investigators say it looks like Sherry never never hit the breaks.
GASTON COUNTY, N.C.– Two people were killed in a car crash Sunday morning in Gaston County, according to Highway Patrol.
Troopers say the accident happened around 10:01 a.m. Saturday on Dallas Spencer Mountain Road near Dallas Stanley Highway.
No further information has been released at this time.
