CMPD Begins Operation Slowdown

CHARLOTTE, NC — Starting Tuesday CMPD is cracking down on speeding drivers. It’s called Operation Slowdown.

CMPD worked with the Charlotte Department of Transportation to come up with a list of seven intersections where they are seeing crashes because of speeding.

Police will announce the intersections on Tuesday.
