Civil War Battle of Wyse Fork Program @ Concord Library

In honor of the Sesquicentennial of the Civil War, librarian & historian Timothy W. Auten will present The Battle of Wyse Fork: North Carolina‘s Neglected Civil War Engagement on Tuesday, March 10 at 6pm in the Auditorium of the Concord Library. Based on his book of the same name, Auten will discuss the Battle of Wyse Fork (outside of Kinston, NC), one of the last Confederate victories in the waning days of the Civil War. Copies of his book will be for sale with a portion of the proceeds going to the Concord Friends of the Library.
