Local Barber Shop Helps SC Recovery Efforts

CHARLOTTE, NC — A local barber shop is chipping in following the historic flooding in South Carolina.

Da Lucky Spot barbershop on North Tryon Street is collecting work clothes for men and women that will be donated to flooding victims in Columbia.

“I wanted to focus on getting people back into the workforce,” said owner Shaun Corbett. “Like the people that completely lost totally everything and don’t have clothes to wear to work. “

If you can help out, items needed include gently-used shirts, ties, slacks, skirts and blouses.
