Park Closed After Accidental Shooting

 CHARLOTTE, NC — A park in south Charlotte is closed after what police are calling an accidental shooting. It happened at Huntingtowne Farms Park on Ramblewood Lane Friday afternoon.

Police tell us they think the male victim accidentally shot himself. Police have not released the age of the victim, but they did find the gun soon after arriving.

The park is expected to reopen Saturday morning.
