(AP) β€” It’s Game 2 of the ALCS with Kansas City trying to take a 2-0 lead on Toronto as the Royals send out Yordano Ventura, a 13-game winner in the regular season (4:07 p.m. Eastern first pitch). The Blue Jays are going with 18-game winner David Price as they try to go back to Toronto with the series tied 1-1.

NEW YORK (AP) β€” The NLCS starts tonight at New York’s City Field (8:07 p.m. Eastern first pitch). That’s where Matt Harvey of the Mets hooks up against southpaw Jon Lester of the Chicago Cubs in the opener of that best-of-seven series.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) β€” The top-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes face their biggest challenge to date against a Penn State team that has won five straight after an opening loss to Temple.
