CFD Collecting Cleaning Supplies for SC Flood Victims

CHARLOTTE, NC — South Carolina residents are getting more help tonight following the historic flooding earlier this month.

The Charlotte Fire Department is collecting cleaning supplies that will then be donated to flood victims. Fire officials say residents in the hardest hit areas still need help cleaning up.

“Although most of the water hazards have receded, the tremendous task of cleaning up has begun, and that’s really where they’re at right now. They need cleaning supplies,” said Battalion Chief Barbara Beam.
