
LINCOLTON, NC– Four people were reportedly arrested Tuesday after a surveillance operation witnessed a hand to hand transaction of drugs.
Lincoln County Sheriff’s say after they witnessed a transaction between individuals on David’s Chapel Church Road, they approached the vehicles but the suspects quickly fled the scene on foot.
After a short chase the suspects were apprehended, a search of their vehicle turned up more than an ounce on meth and several thousand dollars in cash.
Harley William Clinton, 27, was charged with trafficking meth, conspiracy to traffic meth.
Andy Allen Clinton, 24, was charged with trafficking meth, conspiracy to traffic meth and resisting arrest.
Charles Thomas Alexander, 34, was charged with trafficking meth, conspiracy to traffic meth and carrying concealed weapon.
Allen Todd Cliche, 48, was charged with trafficking meth, maintaining a vehicle and carrying a concealed weapon.
